Educational functions

Infarction Code is aimed at people with chest pain who may be presenting with an acute heart attack, a clinical situation where the latter count and it is urgent to reach the appropriate hospital for a medical assessment. Usually the infarction is caused by a clot that blocks an artery of the heart. Lack of circulation causes damage to the heart muscle fed by the obstructed coronary artery. The crucial objective of the treatment is to eliminate the obstruction, which is called REPERFUSION.

Reperfusion with medications, known as FIBRINOLYSIS, is more effective if it is done in the first 30 minutes after the patient arrives at the hospital.

The reperfusion by cardiac catheterization and implantation of a STENT in the first 90 minutes of arrival at the hospital is known as PRIMARY ANGIOPLASTY and is considered the ideal therapy for heart infarction.

Location functions

In an emergency due to chest pain, Code Infarction allows the user to find hospitals accredited by the Society of Interventional Cardiology of Mexico (SOCIME), to perform a catheterization and primary angioplasty.
Later hospitals will be added that do not have a cardiac catheterization room but have efficient fibrinolysis programs with medications.
In the future Code Infarction will be available in other countries where cardiological societies request it.

When activating Code Infarction a map with the route to the nearest hospital will appear. If the user wishes, he can choose another hospital. The application will inform the ambulance service available to request assistance.

File Functions

Infarction Code allows the user to save their personal data and designate contacts for notifications in case of emergencies. It allows storing medical information on your device, with sections for cardiovascular risk factors, a history of cardiovascular diseases and medical conditions that increase the risk of bleeding if anticoagulants are required for the treatment of a heart attack. The risk factors are highlighted in green when they are absent and in red when they are present in order that the user knows the elements that should be modified.

You can also save and update your laboratory tests, basic measures of vital signs, weight and height, medications indicated, as well as allergies to medications.

All that information is stored in the memory of the device.
Code Infarction does not have access to any of the personal data of the user or to his clinical file, so his privacy is guaranteed.
The application will send periodic notifications to remind the user to update their clinical file.

The user can share with their doctor a summary of the clinical file showing it on screen or simply sending it by email.
